REACH1 OUTREACH TEAM
Every month MVC is finding ways to reach out to the Community of Alamogordo. If you would like to be a part of blessing others and want to get involved, send us an email and one of our staff members will contact you.
THANK YOU FOR JOINING THE MVC Outreach Team!
Each new School year can be an exciting time for kids as they get ready for another year of learning. However it can also be a time of stress for parents trying to provide their children with School clothes and School supples.
At our Annual 'Back to School Fest" we hope to relieve some of that stress by providing children with FREE Backpacks, Haircuts, and Free dental hygiene supplies.
We provide an opportunity for a fun filled day with bounce houses and Free Hotdogs and snow-cones for these families.
MVC has given out over 800 Backpacks and provided over 200 haircuts for the children of Alamogordo since launching our Back to School Fest in 2017!
Back to School Fest
Burgers for Badges
In the month of May MVC Honors the first Responders of Otero County. Our Outreach team provides a hearty meal, ranging from Burgers to Steak and Brisket for each of our officers.
We also hold a raffle to bless them and their families with prizes of a wide variety of gift cards from the local business owners of Alamogordo.
It's a great time of conversation and laughter with our first responders and their families!
MVC is honored to show our Appreciation for their hard work of keeping the City of Alamogordo safe!
Special Needs Dance
Three times a year MVC hosts
"The Dance," a Special Needs Dance for our community. The Dance is a time that Special Needs families of Alamogordo can come share a meal, relax, unwind and dance!
Each time we gather these families have such a great time sharing each others company.
MVC has been blessed by these families who come out and enjoy their evening with our family!
Street Thanksgiving Meal
For the past two years The MVC Outreach Team has hit the streets of Alamogordo to provide a HOT Thanksgiving meal.
We provide the families of Alamogordo with a meal, children's coats, clothes, and hygiene products. We have Bounce Houses for the children to play, and we hold a raffle for the opportunity for them to win bicycles.
The MV Outreach team and family truly enjoy the time we have hanging out with the people of our Community.
To this date MV has fed over 3,000 of people on the streets of Alamogordo.
MVC is excited to be a Campus for Runners Refuge, this ministry was birthed in the heart of John and Rachel Stout in Dallas TX. The mission is simple "The Church has left the building" Every 4th Sunday at MVC, we roll out the trailer and pick an area of the city and feed the community. Runners Refuge will also respond to "Crises Relief" and "Disaster Relief" in New Mexico or sister states. For more info on Runners Refuge go to https://runnersrefuge.org
